How we feature your school on doris
Our mission
doris exists to help every parent find the right international school for their children. More than 250,000 parents have used doris so far, and that number is growing every month.
To give families the most complete and honest picture possible, we aim to list every international school in the countries we cover, with the goal of eventually featuring every international school in the world. Your school is one of them, and we want you to know exactly how that works.
How profiles are built
School profiles on doris are compiled from publicly available information, including your school's website, social media channels, and other published sources. This information is then reviewed by our team to check for accuracy.
We do our best to get things right, but publicly available information doesn't always tell the full story, and details change. If something on your profile needs updating, we want to hear about it.
What's on your profile
A standard profile includes the information parents look for most when researching schools: your school's name, location and contact details, age range, fees, curriculum, language of instruction, school size and type, and a brief introduction. Profiles of partner schools include additional sections, photos, videos and CTAs.
Keeping your profile accurate
We want your profile to be right, and we're happy to make amendments to ensure the basics are up to date. If anything is inaccurate, outdated, or missing, just drop us a line at support@doris.school and we'll get it sorted.
We take accuracy seriously because parents depend on it to make good decisions, and your school deserves to be represented properly.
Schools that want more control over their profile and how they come across to prospective families can also become a doris partner, which gives you the ability to edit your own content, add photos and richer detail about school life, and see how parents are discovering and engaging with your school. But there's no obligation to do so. Either way, we'll always make sure your basic information is correct.
How doris recommends schools
We want to be upfront about this: schools cannot pay to appear more prominently on doris. There are no sponsored listings or "verified" profiles.
When parents search on doris, they see schools that match their criteria. If your school fits what a parent is looking for, it appears. If it doesn't, it won't. That's true for every school on the platform, regardless of whether they partner with us or not.
